This policy explains what personal information REVENUX collects when you contact us, respond to one of our adverts, or use this website — and how we use, share, store and protect it, in line with UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
01Who we are
This website, www.revenux.co.uk, is operated by Brandon Lewis, trading as REVENUX ("REVENUX", "we", "us", "our"), a marketing agency based in the United Kingdom.
For the purposes of UK data protection law, we are the data controller of the personal information described in this policy. If you have any questions, you can reach us using the details below:
- Contact email: [email protected]
- Phone: +44 7925 555148
02The information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact details you give us — your name, business name, email address, phone number, and anything you tell us in an enquiry, form, or message (for example when you request a call, complete a lead form, or reply to one of our Facebook or Instagram adverts).
- Enquiry information — details about your business and what you're looking for, so we can respond and assess whether we can help.
- Technical and usage data — such as your IP address, browser type, device information, the pages you view, and how you arrived at our site, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 8).
- Marketing and communications data — your preferences for receiving marketing from us, and your interactions with our adverts, emails and messages.
We do not intentionally collect any "special category" data (such as health, race, or religious information). Please don't send us this kind of information.
03How we collect it
- Directly from you — when you complete a form on our website, submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, email or call us, or book a call with us.
- Automatically — through cookies and tracking technologies when you use our website (see section 8).
- From advertising platforms — where you respond to an advert we run on Meta (Facebook/Instagram), we receive the contact details you submit through that platform's lead form.
04How we use your information & our lawful basis
Under UK GDPR we must have a lawful basis for using your personal information. We rely on the following:
| What we do | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Respond to your enquiry and provide the information or call you asked for | Legitimate interests / steps to enter into a contract |
| Follow up with you about your enquiry by phone, text and email | Legitimate interests (and consent where required for marketing messages) |
| Provide our services to you if you become a client | Performance of a contract |
| Send you marketing about our services | Consent, or legitimate interests where you are an existing enquirer/client |
| Improve our website, adverts and services, and keep them secure | Legitimate interests |
| Meet our legal and accounting obligations | Legal obligation |
Where we rely on legitimate interests, that interest is running and growing our business and responding to people who ask to hear from us — balanced against your rights. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time (see section 9).
05Marketing communications
If you enquire with us, we may contact you by phone, text and email to follow up and to tell you about our services. You can opt out at any time by replying "STOP" to a text, using the unsubscribe link in any email, or emailing us at [email protected]. We'll always honour your choice.
06Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run our business, and only so far as needed. These include:
- HighLevel (LeadConnector / GoHighLevel) — our CRM, forms, booking and messaging platform, which stores enquiries and helps us follow up.
- Meta Platforms (Facebook & Instagram) — where you engage with our adverts or lead forms, and for advertising measurement via the Meta Pixel.
- Email, telephone and SMS providers — used to communicate with you.
- Professional advisers and authorities — such as accountants, or regulators, where required by law.
These providers act as our processors and are only permitted to use your information on our instructions.
07International transfers
Some of our providers (including Meta and HighLevel) are based outside the UK, such as in the United States. Where your information is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as the UK's adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or Standard Contractual Clauses — to make sure it stays protected to UK standards.
08Cookies & tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to make it work, to understand how it's used, and to measure the performance of our advertising (including the Meta Pixel from Facebook/Instagram).
- Essential cookies — needed for the site to function.
- Analytics & advertising cookies — help us see how visitors use the site and measure our adverts. These are only used where you consent.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, including refusing analytics and advertising cookies at any time.
09Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- Ask us to delete your information ("right to be forgotten");
- Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use your information;
- Ask us to transfer your information to another provider (data portability);
- Withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We'll respond within one month.
10How long we keep it
We keep your personal information only for as long as we need it — to respond to your enquiry, provide our services, and meet our legal and accounting obligations — after which we securely delete or anonymise it. If you ask us to delete your information, we'll do so unless we're legally required to keep it.
11How we protect it
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep your information secure and to prevent unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
12Children
Our website and services are intended for business owners and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
13Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
